Smoked Honey Whiskey Sour

SERVES: | COOK TIME: 0-30 min | METHOD: Grilled


  • 2 ounces egg whites
  • 1 1/2 ounces fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 cup honey
  • 2 ounces smoked honey simple syrup
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 ounces whiskey (of your choice, preferably bourbon or rye)
  • wood chips (preferably hickory or mesquite)


  1. Place honey and water in a medium sized grill-able bowl or tray on your Gravity Series Charcoal Grill + Smoker. Smoke at 225˚F for 10 minutes.
    -1/4 cup Water
    -1 cup Honey
  2. Remove from heat, stir and refrigerate until use. Simple syrup will stay fresh for up to 1 month.
  3. Combine whiskey, smoked honey simple syrup, lemon juice and egg whites in a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice and shake vigorously for 10 seconds.
    -3 ounces Whiskey (of your choice, preferably bourbon or rye)
    -2 ounces Smoked Honey Simple Syrup
    -1 1/2 ounces Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
    -2 ounces Egg Whites
  4. Strain into two glasses and enjoy.
