Well the smoker so much I had to get a second one to be able to cook twice as much as with the first one I love it love it love it love it
We have had our Smoker for 4 years. We have used it almost weekly. Have replaced the flame bowl, water tray several times. We now are replacing the entire unit. It has rusted ou around the burner and we don’t feel it is safe now. We have looked at other units but have decided to go back with the 230. Can’t say how much we have enjoyed the one we have. It cooks with perfection. We normally cook a Boston Butt, couple of whole Chickens and usually Fresh Sausage. Never had a fail. Never had anything burn or dry out. I’m a don’t like change person but feel comfortable with this. My neighbors all know Sunday is smoke day.
I bought my smoker last year and I hasn't and never will used a charcoal grill again. I put my meat on and walk away. Meat is so tender and crispy . The smoke taste after complete is delicious. I recommend to all.
Smoker works excellent and keeps the temperature right where you set it. Smoked fresh bacon from my pig and it turned out perfect. Smoked ribs and Boston butts and a ham and the results were perfect every time.
Bought this 6 or 7 weeks ago and have used every week. The only things would like changed is to make so the knob doesn't move on the spindle that holds it. We placed a oven thermometer hanging from one of the racks that we can see through door window and use it to set temp once set. Just leave it alone except to add chips and or to wrap meat if needed. 2 door design is great. I would purchase this again only thing I would do differently is pay Bass Pro where we got it to put it together. We have used it on windy days and have not had trouble with it blowing out but we are smart enough to put up a wind break like when we used to dutch oven cook. Great value for our money.
