Highly recommend this grill! Easy to use and holds temps perfectly! Way better than pellets! Make sure you add wood chunks to ash tray for added flavor!
I absolutely love my 1050. Smoked ton of baby backs, and brisket. Nothing liked a grilled ribeye on this thing. The two problems I am having is it shuts itself off from time to time, and I have grease leaking all over my bottom shelf. I keep the grease catcher clean but grease is leaking from multiple spots. Other than that I would have given it 5 stars.
Great smoker would recommend to anyone that loves to grill or smoke. I’m really enjoying how this Smoker/grill combination has really elevated my barbecue skill level and the smoke rings/bark thats on my meat now is much better than with what I was achieving with my electric smoker.
Bought the 1050 a while back and I like it alot. Get better smoke flavor than my pellet smoker , ended up selling my pit boss. Only problems so far are , paint on smoker lid is bubbling and switch for lid stopped working . Other than that , I really like it . Ordered new switch and need to see what they will do about the paint bubbling .
Purchased July 2020. So far, this unit has been AWESOME! Able to hold temperatures with no problems.
