This was partially an Anniversary gift from my wife 2 months ago & sold a Traeger to make up the difference. Honestly, been so Crazy busy have Only got to do 1 small cook to test temperature control & searing ability, both did well. Also added a bunch of Mods to improve life cycle & overall performance. Haven't got to use Rotisserie yet, but looking forward to utilizing it in future cooks.
Bought it to do Easter dinner, did a duck came out excellent !
Bought this for the 800 gravity series, but they don’t have a specific rod the size of the 800. So I cut the larger 1050, polished the end, my wife said I did a better job than the factory, and it worked perfect for the 800 gravity series. All the holes lined up appropriately for the 800 just like they do for the 560 and the 1050 gravity series. I was able to smoke a 5 1/2 pound chicken using the rotisserie which worked perfectly and at the same time I was able to keep the 2 lower smoke racks on and the top rack. The right bracket took some manipulation and additional adjustments in order for the rack bracket to fit properly and for the lower rack to slide on and keep all the attachments for the rotisserie to remain in the grill. The larger rod for the 1050 gets cut to 24 1/2 inches. And you’re also left with the rod for the 560 which is 22 1/4 inches. This size also permits the two positions that are available with the rotisserie bracket on the right side.
I am so happy I bought this. I have made the best chicken I ever ate.
Waited a long time to pool purchase this. I'm so happy it was back in stock. Did done crispy pork belly and rotisserie chicken on this bad boy and it never fails to amaze me.
