For over the 300 years, the Gauchos have been doing real barbecue on the Pampas. Standing around a fire with friends, the smell of meat cooking, maybe keeping warm together on a cool evening…
Our founder, spent many years traveling, collecting “food memories” of wonderful restaurants and meals with friends in the most amazing places. The one story that kept repeating itself however was the BBQ experience in South America. There was just no better way to enjoy wine, friends, and the best grilled beef you can imagine, than the way it is done in that part of the world. So one day he decided to stop trying to tell his friends about it and started to show them instead.
Since our beginnings, making wood burning ovens and grills, almost 20 years ago, we have been committed to making high quality and innovative products. Our focus is on durability, functionality and aesthetics. They are what guide every decision we make and every step we take.
This is true from the acquisition of the raw materials that we use, to the hiring and constant training of our staff, many of whom have been with us since the beginning.
By combining traditional artisanal methods with the latest technology, we are able to achieve superior results. Each one of our “Grill Builders” takes pride in their work and together, they work as a team to ensure that the highest standards are met.
Our manufacturing facility is 100% integrated. We control every part of the manufacturing process. That means that there are no excuses. We and nobody else are responsible for the end result. That is the way it is supposed to be.
The commitment and pride of our President and founder as well as our team members is what makes the final product so special.
That final product is a grill or an oven that will last for years to come.
Tradition and Inspiration
For as long as human kind has known fire, it has known Barbecue, and while it may have started as a means for survival, it has become so much more.
Barbecue is not supposed to be quick. We hope that for you, grilling is a time for friends, conversation, and above all, a good time. There is no substitute for the satisfaction of starting a fire and then experiencing the slow advance of the natural smoke, laden with the aroma of food being prepared. It is a time for anticipation and creativity, knowing that what comes next, what you had a hand in creating, is going to be memorable.
We take our inspiration from the Gauchos, those free spirits of the Argentine Pampas that would ride the vast plains on horseback for weeks on end, taking care of their precious cattle. At the end of a long day, it was simple, a campfire, the moon, the stars, and above all else, a good barbecue with other Gauchos.
