I bought this smoker about a month or so ago and it was the best purchase I have made all year. It was suppose to be a gift for my husband but I have been the one using it more than he has. This is perfect for someone who is a beginner in smoking. Have already recommended this to many of my friends.
My electric smoker arrived last Monday and after seasoning it yesterday I put to use today. Four pounds of Scottish Salmon, brined over night (nine hours) and smoked for three hours today. Moist, flavorful and delicious! My in-laws couldn’t believe how good it turned out from this small and inexpensive unit. Going to smoke brisket next with confidence!
Bought it a few months back and it is perfect. Smoked ribs, butts, fish and made my own bacon. Excellent flavor all the way thru.
I bought this smoker 18 months ago and have loved using it. I've smoked chicken, turkey, ribs and brisket in it and they all turned out fantastic.
I purchased this smoker because I’ve had issues with digital display smokers. I knew for the price I wasn’t purchasing a smoker with all the bells and whistles. It works perfectly for what my purchase intent was. I find it difficult to make tough critiques on a product that only cost me $125. Some simple upgrades while keeping the cost down on this product would be a top vent or chimney, a better sealing door, and possibly relocating the liquid tray so it doesn’t collect all the meat drippings. Other than that, this smoker does exactly what intended it to do. I would recommend purchasing a digital temperature probe (Amazon less than $20) and using that to regulate your internal smoking temps.
